Konga has launched its month-long Tech Month campaign, offering discounts of up to 50 percent on a wide range of technology products, in a strategic push to deepen digital access and consumer adoption across Nigeria.

The campaign, which runs from May 1 to May 31, 2026, comes at a time when demand for reliable and high-performance technology tools is rising sharply among individuals, small businesses and corporate organisations navigating a fast-evolving digital economy.

Konga said the initiative goes beyond promotional sales, positioning it as a key enabler of digital inclusion by making premium devices more accessible and affordable. The platform has partnered leading global brands including Samsung, LG, ASUS, HP and Starlink to deliver what it described as unmatched value across multiple product categories.

From smartphones and laptops to home appliances and accessories, the campaign is designed to serve both personal and professional needs, offering Nigerians a one-stop destination for technology upgrades.

A major highlight of this year’s edition is Konga’s partnership with Starlink, which has designated the company as its authorised support centre in Nigeria. This development allows customers to access in-person support services, including installation guidance and technical troubleshooting, at select Konga retail outlets nationwide.

The move could help bridge long-standing gaps in broadband access by combining global satellite technology with local retail and support infrastructure.

In addition to discounted pricing, Konga is rolling out incentives aimed at improving customer experience. Shoppers purchasing products from Samsung and LG official stores on the platform will benefit from free delivery, while its express logistics service, KongaNow, promises same-day delivery for urgent orders.

The company is also leveraging its mobile app to drive engagement, offering app-exclusive deals, early access to flash sales and free shipping on selected items. This mobile-first approach reflects growing consumer preference for convenience and speed in online transactions.

Konga noted that by working directly with original equipment manufacturers, it is guaranteeing 100 per cent authentic products, a move expected to strengthen consumer trust in Nigeria’s e-commerce ecosystem, which has often been challenged by counterfeit concerns.

Analysts believe the timing of the campaign aligns with broader economic priorities, as access to affordable technology tools becomes increasingly critical for productivity, education and business growth. For small and medium-sized enterprises, in particular, reduced cost barriers to acquiring digital tools could accelerate their transition to more efficient, tech-driven operations.

Beyond immediate sales, the Tech Month initiative underscores Konga’s ambition to consolidate its leadership in Nigeria’s e-commerce and technology retail space by combining competitive pricing, strategic partnerships and improved logistics.

As the campaign progresses through May, the company says shoppers should expect rolling promotions, flash sales and additional incentives aimed at sustaining momentum.

With Nigeria’s digital economy continuing to expand, initiatives like Konga Tech Month are emerging as critical drivers of access, helping to ensure that more consumers and businesses are equipped with the tools needed to participate fully in a technology-driven future.
