Dash Microfinance Bank has introduced a new digital banking initiative known as Dash Quest, a reward-based engagement programme that offers users a chance to unlock a N30,000 welcome reward through everyday financial transactions.
The bank said the initiative is designed to reshape how customers interact with digital banking by turning routine activities such as transfers, bill payments, airtime purchases, and data top-ups into rewarding financial experiences.

According to the financial institution, every new user who downloads the Dash app and registers will immediately see a locked N30,000 reward balance displayed in their account profile.
The reward, however, is not instantly withdrawable. Instead, users are expected to unlock it progressively by carrying out daily transactions on the app.
Dash explained that the more consistent a user is with daily activity, the faster portions of the reward become available. The system also encourages users to perform multiple transaction types in a single day, which accelerates their progress under what the bank describes as a multiplier effect.
Speaking on the launch, Rotimi Awofisibi, the managing director and chief executive officer of Dash Microfinance Bank, said the programme is aimed at encouraging financial discipline while making banking more engaging for users.
He noted that the initiative moves away from traditional banking models by rewarding customers for simply using the platform as their everyday financial tool.
He explained that activities such as sending money, paying utility bills, or purchasing airtime are all designed to contribute to unlocking the N30,000 reward, stressing that the goal is to build consistent usage habits while improving customer experience on the platform.

Dash Microfinance Bank also highlighted that its mobile application is built to provide a simple and secure banking experience, with features that include instant money transfers, bill payments, and airtime top-ups. The bank added that its systems are protected with advanced security protocols in line with regulatory standards set by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
To participate, users are required to download the Dash mobile application from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, complete a quick registration process, and immediately gain access to their locked reward balance. From there, they can begin daily transactions to progressively unlock the funds.
The bank stated that Dash Quest is now live and open to all new and existing users as part of its broader effort to promote digital financial inclusion and everyday banking adoption in Nigeria.
