Bolaji Tijani, executive director, Product and Strategy at Anyworkx speaking at the launch of the marketplace in Lagos said,” We have created a transformative and inclusive platform that overcomes challenges faced by Africans in terms of connecting service providers to their customers while financially empowering them.

“Traditional methods of finding services are time-consuming, unreliable and often end up with lack of desired quality and these are what we are tackling by bringing expert service providers with a good database.”

Tijani explained that the platform which only allows fully verified individual service providers also consists of an In-app chat where the service provider and customer determine the level of service to render before negotiating the fee and also a tracking device available to oversee and direct the movement of the service provider when booked.

“The App is designed to enhance the productivity of service providers by creating a platform through which they can be listed, advertise their services, showcase their experience, have the flexibility to work anytime and have a borderless market which enables them to get customers from anywhere their services may be required. It is an App positioned to create a boost for the African economy through the service industry,” Tijani added.

Anyworkx said it currently has over 200 different categories of services which will be added to the list as more services emerge.

Speaking about the features, the platform stated that they have up to five stages of verification to ensure the security of the platform.
