Southampton and Royal Antwerp have paid emotional tributes following the death of Nigerian forward Victor Udoh at the age of 21.
Udoh, who previously featured for Southampton’s academy side and Belgian outfit Royal Antwerp, was reportedly found dead in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.

Before his move to England, Udoh developed through the academy ranks at Royal Antwerp, where he impressed for the club’s “Young Reds” team and later broke into the senior side.
He made 28 appearances for Antwerp’s first team after scoring 12 goals in 27 matches for the academy side.
Following his departure from Southampton in September, Udoh moved to the Czech second-tier club SK Dynamo České Budějovice.
