Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan have reportedly reached an agreement over the transfer of defender Fikayo Tomori, according to multiple reports from Italy.
Spurs have acted swiftly to secure a deal for the former Chelsea centre-back, with Sky Sport Italia claiming the two clubs have reached a verbal agreement on a €25 million fee, plus an additional €5 million in bonuses and add-ons.
However, Tomori, a 27-year-old defender has yet to give his final approval to the move, leaving uncertainty over whether the transfer will go through. If completed, the 26-year-old could miss the highly anticipated Derby della Madonnina between Milan and Inter on Sunday.
With the transfer window set to close on Monday, February 3, Tottenham are now working to finalize personal terms and convince Tomori to return to the Premier League. The North London club has reportedly beaten Aston Villa in the race for his signature, while Juventus had previously attempted to sign him on a loan deal with an obligation to buy for €25 million.
Milan’s willingness to sell Tomori aligns with a broader squad reshuffle, as the club is also in talks over potential moves for Álvaro Morata to Galatasaray and Francesco Camarda to Monza.
If completed, Tomori’s departure would mark a significant change in Milan’s defensive structure while giving Tottenham a key reinforcement in their backline.
