Real Madrid have denied reports linking the club with a bumper €200 million move for Bayern Munich and France winger Michael Olise.
Olise, who is currently representing France at the FIFA 2026 World Cup, had been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabéu by sections of the Spanish media, with reports claiming Los Blancos were considering a bid worth more than €200 million.

However, Real Madrid moved swiftly to dismiss the speculation.
“In light of the information published in various media outlets regarding an alleged interest of our club in Bayern Munich player Michael Olise, Real Madrid wishes to clarify that they have not had any direct or indirect contact with the aforementioned footballer, his representatives, or people in his circle,” a club statement reads.
Madrid added that they maintain an “excellent institutional relationship” with Bayern Munich and stressed that the reports “do not correspond to reality.”
Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in 2024 for around €60 million and enjoyed an impressive debut season in Germany, helping Vincent Kompany’s side win the Bundesliga title and reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
The denial comes amid an active summer transfer window for Real Madrid following the appointment of José Mourinho earlier this month.
The Spanish giants have already strengthened their squad with the arrivals of Bernardo Silva and Ibrahima Konaté on free transfers, while Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella joined for a reported €55 million fee.
After enduring two consecutive seasons without a major trophy, the 15-time European champions are rebuilding their squad as they look to return to the summit of Spanish and European football.
