Reports from Italy suggest that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has agreed to personal terms with French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), while further negotiations with Napoli are still ongoing.

According to Tuttosport, the Napoli striker is ready to join PSG and has already reached a personal agreement with the French club. The 25-year-old is expected to leave the Serie A club during the current transfer window, with PSG being the main contender for his signature despite Napoli’s reluctance to sell below his €130m release clause.

PSG have yet to agree on a transfer fee with Napoli and are not willing to meet the full release clause of approximately €130m. However, it is reported that they could offer €100m and include one unnamed player in the deal. The report states that Osimhen has agreed to sign a five-year contract worth €14m per season.

Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, was in Paris earlier this week to negotiate with PSG. The Ligue 1 champions must now reach an agreement with Napoli. The Partenopei and their new coach, Antonio Conte, are prepared to part ways with the Nigerian forward, but PSG seems unwilling to meet the €130m release clause. Latest reports suggest that PSG could propose a €100m deal plus one of their players.

Sky Sport Italia has reported that Carlos Soler, ex-RB Leipzig full-back Nordi Mukiele, and attacker Lee Kang-in were offered to Napoli as part of the deal. Meanwhile, Conte has identified Chelsea outcast Romelu Lukaku as the ideal replacement for Osimhen at Stadio Maradona.
