Nigerian prophet warns Osimhen against Chelsea move

Nigerian prophet and leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a stern warning to Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, advising him against a potential move to Chelsea.

Chelsea have been active in the transfer market and have spent nearly £200 million on 12 new players, including Pedro Neto from Wolves for £54 million.

The Blues have been aggressively pursuing the Napoli forward, with talks ongoing for a potential swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku. However, Primate Ayodele insists a move to Stamford Bridge could be detrimental to Osimhen’s career.

“If he goes to Chelsea, he will not shine, and it will kill his career,” Prophet Ayodele stated, in a message reported by Famous People. He even suggested that the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) should reconsider calling Osimhen to the Super Eagles if he completes a transfer to Chelsea.

In a video message, Ayodele added: “NFF, if Osimhen joins Chelsea, don’t call him again. His move should be reviewed properly because Nigeria has what it takes to excel in the World Cup and Nations Cup.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea legends John Obi-Mikel and Didier Drogba have publicly expressed their desire to see Osimhen join the club, adding fuel to the transfer speculation.

Mikel shared his enthusiasm: “I’ll make sure I send him those text messages and calls, making Chelsea his top priority.” Drogba has also been in contact, sharing his thoughts on the importance of the club.

Napoli, on the other hand, is reluctant to let go of their star striker and has demanded multiple players in exchange for Osimhen.

Despite Chelsea’s strong interest, Osimhen has also been linked to a move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) following Kylian Mbappe’s departure from Real Madrid.

As the transfer window reaches its climax, the future of the Nigerian forward remains uncertain, with both clubs and fans eagerly awaiting the outcome.
