Meadow Hall wins international school swimming competition

Meadow Hall, with its passion for raising excellent, Godly and well-rounded children hosted an international schools swimming competition held on Saturday 18th March, 2017, at its 25m swimming pool located at Meadow Hall Way, Lekki, Lagos.

Nine of the most prestigious international schools in Lagos State participated in the competition. The schools were Greensprings Lekki, Greensprings Anthony, Grenville, Greenwood House School, Lagos Preparatory School, St. Saviour’s School, Temple, Learning Place and the hosts, Meadow Hall.

It was a successful competition, with the parents of the children providing vociferous support. The participants put in their age categories between 7-11years, contested all four strokes: backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle, with Meadow Hall coming out on top with 126 points. In 2nd and 3rd place were Lagos Preparatory School with 109 points and Greensprings Lekki with 96 points, respectively

Radio personality, Dan Foster was warmly welcomed as he gave his vote of thanks at the end of the competition. He thanked the competition organisers and called for greater participation in sports and other non-academic activities.
