Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s retirement remains the most disbelieved thing in the world of sports, and Money isn’t doing much to persuade us otherwise.  Mayweather was at Saturday’s Ortiz-Guerrero fight for the WBC welterweight title he vacated, and he made sure to plug Mayweather Promotions and praise the card, which was put on by his manager, Al Haymon.

When the subject turned to his possible return from retirement, Mayweather ducked and dodged like he always does, and would not rule it out.

“As of right now, I don’t have the urge to fight,” he said.

However, Mayweather didn’t want to name a possible successor to his throne, saying only, “There’s a lot of great talent out there.”

Sounds like a guy who still thinks he’s king and isn’t done ruling.
