Ticket prices for the FIFA 2026 World Cup quarter-finals have dropped by more than 50 per cent on the resale market, with a combination of surprise eliminations and an increase in ticket supply driving one of the tournament’s biggest price corrections.
The most significant decline has been recorded for Friday’s Spain versus Belgium quarter-final at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

According to secondary marketplace TickPick, the cheapest resale ticket has fallen from around $2,950 to approximately $1,200, while SeatPick reports that average resale prices across all four quarter-final matches have declined by more than 50 per cent over the past three days.
Why have ticket prices fallen?
USA’s early exit reduced local demand
The biggest factor behind the price drop is the elimination of tournament co-host the United States.
Belgium’s emphatic 4-1 victory over the Americans in the Round of 16 ended hopes of a home team featuring in the Los Angeles-area quarter-final. A match involving the host nation was expected to generate enormous local demand and command premium resale prices. Once the USA exited the tournament, demand softened considerably, leading sellers to slash prices.
Portugal’s elimination removed Cristiano Ronaldo’s drawing power
Portugal’s Round of 16 defeat to Spain also had a major impact on the resale market.
Cristiano Ronaldo remains one of football’s biggest global attractions, and many fans were hoping to see the Portuguese legend in what could have been the final World Cup appearance of his illustrious career. Spain’s 1-0 victory ended that possibility, reducing the appeal of the Los Angeles quarter-final for many neutral supporters.
More tickets available on the resale market
Another reason for the sharp decline is the increase in ticket availability.
SeatPick data shows that nearly 49,500 tickets are currently listed for resale, compared with approximately 28,300 when the tournament kicked off on June 11. The larger inventory has created greater competition among sellers, forcing many to lower prices to secure buyers.
Which quarter-final has the cheapest tickets?
Among the four last-eight ties, France’s clash with Morocco at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, currently has the lowest resale entry price.
According to TickPick, fans can purchase tickets from $989, despite the match carrying historic significance as Morocco continues its bid to become the first African nation to win the FIFA World Cup.
