Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward Randal Kolo Muani has joined Juventus on loan until the end of the season. The 26-year-old French international has made 14 appearances for PSG this season, but has not played since December 6.
Premier League clubs, including Tottenham and Manchester United, had shown interest in signing Kolo Muani. The forward joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt in September 2023 for £76.4 million, signing a five-year contract.
“His arrival in Turin comes as an important addition to Thiago Motta’s squad, bringing both quality and experience to the attack, whether he plays centrally or out wide,” said Serie A club Juventus in a statement. “Welcome to Juventus, Randal!”
Kolo Muani’s loan move means he will be available for Juventus’ Serie A match against league leaders Napoli this Saturday.
The 26-year-old came through the FC Nantes academy and rose to prominence at Eintracht Frankfurt, where his performances earned him a €95 million transfer to PSG. So far this season, he has scored two goals and provided one assist in 14 competitive games for PSG.
After struggling to make an impact at PSG under manager Luis Enrique, Kolo Muani fell out of favour and is now looking for a fresh start in Italy. He has scored eight goals in 27 appearances for the France national team, famously coming close to scoring a late winner in the 2022 World Cup final against Argentina.
