Kelechi Iheanacho has won the 2025/26 Scottish Premiership title with Celtic after the Hoops came from behind to defeat Heart of Midlothian 3-1 in a title decider on Saturday.

Celtic scored two late goals to seal victory and secure their 14th league title in the last 15 years, as well as the 56th Scottish Premiership crown in the club’s history.

The Super Eagles striker came on at half-time, replacing Sebastian Tounekti, as Celtic fought back from an early setback.

Michael Steinwender had given Hearts the lead in the 38th minute before Arne Engels equalised from the penalty spot just before the break.

Celtic then completed the comeback late in the game through goals from Daizen Maeda and Callum Osmand to seal the title triumph for Martin O’Neill’s side.

The Hoops finished top of the table with 82 points, two ahead of Hearts.

“I genuinely can’t believe it; it’s like a dream,” said Celtic manager Martin O’Neill, who returned on an interim basis this season two decades after his first spell in charge.

“I’m absolutely ecstatic,” the 74-year-old added.
