Galatasaray fans have begged Victor Osimhen to reject big-money moves from Premier League clubs and sign a permanent deal with the Turkish champions.

The Nigerian striker has enjoyed a record-breaking loan spell in Istanbul, reigniting his career following a fallout at Napoli and a collapsed transfer last summer.

Since joining Galatasaray on a season-long deal, Osimhen has scored an astonishing 36 goals and eight assists in 40 appearances across all competitions, setting a new benchmark for the most goals scored by a foreign player in a single Turkish season.

He was instrumental in Galatasaray’s title-winning campaign, scoring the opener in their 3-0 Süper Lig-clinching victory over Kayserispor on Sunday and bagging a brace in last week’s Turkish Cup final win against Trabzonspor.

As the final whistle blew at Rams Park, the club’s supporters turned the stadium into a shrine of adoration, chanting Osimhen’s name and unveiling a heartfelt banner that reads:

“Stay with us, not because you have to, but because you want to.”

The emotional scenes continued post-match as young fans handed Osimhen a handwritten note on the pitch.

“Stay with us, Osimhen.”

Despite the love from Galatasaray’s fans, Osimhen’s future remains uncertain. The 26-year-old has a €75 million release clause in his Napoli contract and continues to be linked with Premier League clubs, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), and Juventus.

It would take a historic financial effort for Galatasaray to retain the Super Eagles star permanently.

The current Süper Lig transfer record stands at €19.5m, the fee Fenerbahce paid for Youssef En-Nesyri last summer, a fraction of what Osimhen would cost.
