West London Premier League outfit Fulham have reportedly decided against activating the €24 million option to sign Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze permanently from AC Milan following his season-long loan spell at Craven Cottage.
According to Italian outlet Tuttomercato, the Super Eagles winger is now expected to return to San Siro this summer after Fulham opted not to proceed with a permanent transfer.

Chukwueze joined Fulham on loan from AC Milan last summer in a move aimed at reviving his career after a difficult spell in Serie A.
The 27-year-old contributed three goals and four assists during the campaign, showing flashes of his attacking quality and pace in Marco Silva’s side.
Despite some encouraging performances in the Premier League, Fulham’s hierarchy reportedly believe the overall transfer package is too expensive relative to his output and have chosen to explore alternative attacking options.
Fulham had negotiated an option-to-buy clause believed to be worth between €24 million and €30 million as part of the original agreement with AC Milan.
Chukwueze endured a challenging two-year period with the Rossoneri before securing the temporary move to England in search of regular football.
Although he provided moments of creativity and direct attacking play for the Cottagers, inconsistency across the season appears to have influenced Fulham’s final decision.
The Nigerian international will now return to AC Milan, where his long-term future remains uncertain ahead of the summer transfer window.
