Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres struck twice as Arsenal thrashed Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 in a north London derby to reignite their Premier League title charge.
Mikel Arteta’s side ended a costly two-match winless run and moved five points clear of second-placed Manchester City, with Eze delivering a decisive performance and Gyokeres rediscovering his cutting edge.

Eze, who turned down the chance to join Tottenham last summer, has consistently produced his standout displays against Spurs.
The 27-year-old scored a hat-trick in the corresponding 4-1 fixture in November, and, despite a recent dip in form, Arteta restored him to the starting XI for the rematch.
The England midfielder justified that faith, ending an 18-game goal drought with a clinical double.
Arsenal took the lead at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium through Eze in the first half, but Randal Kolo Muani responded almost immediately to level the contest.
Gyokeres restored Arsenal’s advantage shortly after the interval, before Eze added a third to put the visitors in control. The Swedish striker then sealed the emphatic victory with his second of the afternoon.
For Gyokeres, who endured a difficult debut season following his move from Sporting Lisbon, the brace marked a significant statement. His resurgence, alongside Eze’s return to form, arrives at a pivotal moment in the title race.
Arsenal had previously held a commanding advantage in their pursuit of a first league title since 2004, but successive draws against Brentford and Wolves reopened the contest. Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Newcastle on Saturday cut the gap to just two points.
