Joshua Zirkzee scored his first Premier League goal before Mason Mount struck the winner as Manchester United came from behind to beat Crystal Palace 2–1 at Selhurst Park.
The win ended the Red Devils’ four-game winless run and lifted them back into the Premier League’s top six.
Ruben Amorim’s side trailed at half-time after Jean-Philippe Mateta converted a penalty, but United responded strongly after the break, with Zirkzee and Mount securing a much-needed victory.

Zirkzee’s equaliser, his first Premier League goal since December 2024, ended a 24-game drought that had fuelled criticism of his £36 million move from Bologna.
The 24-year-old had gone eight appearances without scoring and has struggled for form since joining the club.
Mount, plagued by injuries and inconsistency since arriving from Chelsea, netted the decisive goal, only his second strike of the season, to complete the comeback.
After Monday’s disappointing defeat to 10-man Everton, the result offers a timely lift for Amorim. United’s resilience at Selhurst Park was notable, with Palace suffering their first home league defeat since February 15, a run that had seen Oliver Glasner’s team trouble several top Premier League sides.
Amorim had insisted ahead of the match that Man United had “no excuses” for their poor start to the 2025/26 season, and he will be buoyed by his team’s response in freezing south London.
