Chelsea finally name £100m price for Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard

After weeks of transfer speculations, Premier league side, Chelsea have finally name a price for unsettled Belgian star Eden Hazard.

Chelsea are demanding £100m from Real Madrid if Belgian star decides to leave in the summer.

The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for years and has made no secret of his desire to play for the Spanish giants.

The Belgian star will only have a year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge in the summer, but the Blues will not allow their star man to leave on the cheap.

Eden Hazard has been in flying form for Chelsea this season and equaling Barcelona’s Lionel Messi goals and assists record for the season.

Chelsea have been trying to agree an extension with the 28-year-old, but failed to tie him down to a new deal.

Despite the forward claiming he is prepared to wait until the end of the season before deciding whether or not to sign a new contract with Chelsea, both parties favour an earlier resolution.

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri in December, 2018 insisted it is time for a decision to be made over Hazard’s future and the club have already
started planning for both scenarios.

Real are considering bidding for both Hazard and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen to replace misfiring Gareth Bale and Luka Modric. It means the Bernabeu side will have to splash the cash to make the deals happen.
