FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, has met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa.
The meeting which took place on Monday at the Aso Rock in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital is part of Infantino’s two-day official visit.
He was in company of FIFA Secretary-General, Fatma Samoura, the Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung and executive board members of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The 40-year-old assured Nigerians of his support for the growth and development of the round leather game in Nigeria.
NFF Vice President, Seyi Akinwunmi, described the visit as an epoch event.
