Arsenal have been crowned Premier League champions for the first time in 22 years after Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday night.
The result confirmed Arsenal as champions of the 2025/26 Premier League season, with Mikel Arteta’s side now guaranteed to finish top of the table.

Arsenal had moved five points clear at the summit following Monday’s 1-0 victory over Burnley, taking their tally to 82 points.
City’s draw at Bournemouth means Pep Guardiola’s side can now only finish with a maximum of 81 points, officially handing the title to the Gunners before the final round of fixtures on Sunday.
The confirmation sparked celebrations among Arsenal supporters across North London and around the world as the club secured its 14th English league title and first since the famous “Invincibles” triumph in 2004.
Tuesday’s match at the Vitality Stadium was overshadowed by reports suggesting Pep Guardiola could leave Manchester City at the end of the season after nearly a decade in charge.
Guardiola insisted before kickoff that speculation surrounding his future had “absolutely zero” effect on preparations, but Bournemouth produced an impressive performance to extend their unbeaten run to 17 matches.
Arsenal will now lift the Premier League trophy after their final game of the season away to Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Attention will then turn to the UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain FC in Budapest on May 30, where Arsenal will attempt to complete a memorable league and European double.
