The Association of Corporate Trustees of Nigeria (ACT) is set to host its 2026 Annual Conference on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at The Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Themed “A New Legal Order: Corporate Trustees at the Intersection of Regulatory Reforms,” the Conference will provide a strategic platform for stakeholders within Nigeria’s financial services and capital market ecosystem to examine the evolving regulatory environment and its implications for corporate trusteeship practice.

The event is expected to bring together regulators, policymakers, trustees, legal practitioners, financial institutions, capital market operators, and other key stakeholders to discuss emerging legal and regulatory developments shaping the future of trust services in Nigeria.

Speaking on the significance of the Conference, the President of ACT, Mrs. Omolola Iyinolakan, noted that the increasing pace of regulatory reforms within the financial system requires Corporate Trustees to remain proactive, adaptive, and aligned with global best practices.

The Conference will feature Dr. Emomotimi Agama, Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker, while Mr. Raymond Omachi, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Finance, will participate as Special Guest and Keynote Speaker.
