Expert links hormonal imbalance, fibroid, tumour in women to hair relaxers

George  Ekeh, the chief executive officer (CEO)  of Justy Green Foods Limited in Imo State, has linked the onset of fibroid, tumour and occasional hormonal imbalance in women to their regular application of hair relaxers, which he said has high degree of toxin that can affect women.

Ekeh, who doubles as the monarch of Ubomiri in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of lmo State, disclosed this during a one-day seminar and free medical treatment he held at Owerri, the state capital.

The vibrant monarch also explained that with the frequent application of the toxin in the hair relaxers often used by women on their scalps, the substance enters their blood stream and damages and poisons even the foetus in pregnant women, which eventually leads to expulsion of the foetus from the uterus (otherwise called miscarriage).

He added that the use of the hair relaxers also causes stunt growth in girls. “That is the problem we are having today, due to the life style imposed on us,” he stated.

The Justy Foods boss stressed that NAFDAC has on several occasions warned that hydroquinone is harmful, and should not be included in toiletries.

He also posited that when the substance has laminated the cells, oxygen finds it difficult to penetrate into the system; as the wellness expert explained that he is promoting solution to health hazards through his Justy Foods products.

He also advised women who are looking for babies to desist from taking alcohol, cigarettes and caffeine-contained junk foods, and warned that balanced foods should not be neglected in their meals.

He advised that if such women should abstain from the aforementioned items for at least three months, while preparing and waiting for conception, and add Justy Foods to their menu, which he said, contain more than 35 essential vitamins and  minerals; these would help to rejuvenate, detoxify the system and enhance proper circulation of blood and correction of damaged cells.

Ekeh added that one of the products of Justy Foods, Biniza Ultra can be used to control and fight high blood pressure, diabetes, infection, over-weight; and equally control low sperm counts in males, as well as correct distorted genetic code destroyed by untreated infections that have lasted for many years in the system.

He also said untreated diseases can denature the foetus; stressing that his regular health seminars are the means he uses to proffer health solutions: “l am promoting solution to health hazards, not my products,” he submitted.
