Swansea University storms Nigeria for UKEAS fair

As the link between quality education and sustainable economic and job growth continues to be made by most employers of labour in Nigeria, an official delegation from SWANSEA University, one of the top universities in the United Kingdom, is in the country, attending education fairs in various cities between April 28th.

A statement from the university described their visit as a “perfect opportunity to meet and speak to talented students who wish to study in the UK, because we recognize the high calibre of Nigerian students choosing to study with us.

Swansea University offers opportunities for world class learning and we are glad to be able to help train Nigerian students to become future leaders.”

The Swansea delegation is led by Senior Lecturer, Dr Andrew Iwobi from the College of Law. Dr Iwobi will be meeting law graduates at UKEAS Education Fair in Abuja on 29th April and potential LLM offer holders are encouraged to see him for more advice.

Elo Vivian Odede, Swansea University Regional Manager, will also be attending UKEAS, KOT and ESCC Education fairs at Port Harcourt, Accra, Calabar and Lagos where she would be spreading the Swansea Gospel.

Swansea University is based in the UK and it is currently ranked as a top 50 university. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses and the 2014 QS World University Rankings by Subject show that Swansea University has maintained its top global 200 spot in a number of subjects , including Law and Legal Studies, Engineering (Civil, Structural and Mechanical) as well as English Language and Literature for the first time.

Swansea University offers free advice on visas, scholarships and application procedures to students who wish to study at Swansea University at its office based on Victoria Island, Lagos.
