Mouka, Nigeria’s leading manufacturer of mattresses, pillows and other bedding products has won the Most Outstanding Foam and Mattress Company of the Year at the Nigerian Real Estate and Property Awards 2021 held in Lagos recently.
Tolu Olanipekun Head of Marketing at Mouka described the award, like others won in the past, attest to the remarkable craftsmanship of Mouka, which has spanned over the past 61 years.
She added that the award was bestowed on the manufacturer for its innovation in mattress and beddings production as well as its reputation for exceptional product quality
“Mouka remains committed to safeguarding consumers’ wellbeing through its sleep solutions and in-line with its maxim of adding comfort to life, the company will not relent in producing top quality items to satisfy its customers” she said.
Furthermore, the company as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) rewarded the best graduating student in each faculty with cheques of One Hundred Thousand Naira at Covenant University, Ogun state, during their recently held convocation
In 2020, the brand flagged off the Mouka Award for Excellence, in which it set out to reward the brightest student in each faculty in various universities around Nigeria.
The beneficiaries include Esonu Chisom from the College of Management and Social Studies; Williams Taiwo from Leadership and Development Studies; Ezeuduji Daniel and Umeh Emmanuel from Engineering; and James-Okoro Paula-Peace from Science and Technology.
Similarly, Mouka gave out free dreamtime baby mattresses and baby mats to babies born on May 27th in 14 hospitals across nine states in Nigeria, they include Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Edo, Rivers, Kano, etc.
The presentations were made by Mouka’s marketing team and the NSP at the Lagos Island Maternity Hospital (LIMH),Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH),Adeoyo Hospital in Oyo state, as well as Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital (OAUTH) in Ile-Ife.
Mouka has a portfolio of quality products such as Wellbeing orthopedic mattresses, in addition to the Royal luxury pillow top mattress, Mondeo plus Spring mattress, and a wide range of pillows which has earned the brand an endorsement by the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy (NSP) and the National Association of Orthopedic Manual Therapists (NAOMT).
