A real estate developer, Real Forte Estate Limited, has commenced the second phase of its residential project, The Glade, in the Idu Sabo area of Abuja, in response to growing demand for housing and investment opportunities in the corridor.

The new phase follows the earlier rollout of The Glade Phase I, which the company said attracted strong investor interest and recorded significant returns. According to the firm, demand from prospective buyers who were unable to secure plots in the initial phase informed the decision to proceed with expansion.

Ayobami Folarin, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder, in a statement on Sunday said the development reflects the company’s effort to scale supply in line with increasing demand for residential properties in emerging districts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The Glade Phase II comprises a mix of terrace, semi-detached and fully detached plots, with structured payment options aimed at broadening access for both homeowners and investors.

The estate is located within the Idu axis, an area currently witnessing infrastructure improvements, including work on the Inner Northern Expressway and connecting routes along the Karimo–Lifecamp corridor. These projects are expected to enhance accessibility and support future growth in the district.

According to the developer, the estate plan includes basic residential infrastructure such as internal road networks, parking areas, recreational spaces and community facilities designed to support urban living.

The statement noted also that Real Forte Estate Limited also has ongoing projects in other parts of Abuja, including Apo Tafyi, Karasana and Sabon Lugbe, as it continues to focus on expansion across developing areas within the FCT.
