Cruxstone sees Osinbajo’s role in promoting ease of doing business as exciting

Cruxstone Development and Investment Limited says it is excited by the role and contribution of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, a professor and senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN), to promoting ease of doing business in Nigeria.

The real estate firm adds that it also finds something to cheer in Osinbajo’s contribution to building policies and systems that boost confidence and drive sustainable socio-economic infrastructure in the country and has, therefore, recognized and rewarded him with Sterling Leadership Award—an initiative of Nigerian Achievers Awards Institute.

Cruxstone is a frontline real estate developer in Nigeria with strong footprints in the luxury high-rise segment of the property market. It is the developer of Iconic Towers which is a four-tower residential development of 12 floors each and a signature hotel apartment tower in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Cruxstone is also the developer of The Autograph Plus, a premium collection of luxury hotel suites, apartments and lofts in Victoria Island, and also Nautica Rise which is a mixed-use prime waterfront development at Oniru, Lagos, set to transform the real state landscape into a world-class resort and tourist’s destination.

Adetoro Bank-Omotoye, the company’s CEO, explained that Osinbajo’s award was also in recognition of his leadership qualities both in the public and private sectors which have impacted many lives.

“The Vice President has proven to be a man of knowledge and a role model to many for over 50 years, dating back to his secondary school days at Igbobi College; his appointment as the Attorney General of Lagos State and his tenure as the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Adetoro Bank-Omotoye said.

He added that the vice president had made remarkable achievements during his tenure particularly in the area of economic development, citing his key success story as the ‘Ease of Doing Business reforms’, which has made it easier for entrepreneurs and businesses to operate in Nigeria seamlessly.

“Under his watch and guidance, Nigerian government has implemented several measures aimed at improving the business environment, such as streamlining the process for registering a business, simplifying tax procedures, and reducing the time and cost of getting necessary permits and licenses,” he said.

He noted that Osinbajo had also been instrumental to other initiatives such as the National Social Investment Programme which provided financial support for vulnerable populations, and the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Clinics, which offered training and support to small business owners.

The award presentation, which took place at Aso Rock Villa, was witnessed by Ade Ipaye, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Vice President, Tunde Osibamowo, Senior Special Adviser to the President, Head, Presidential Delivery Unit and Gbolade Okenla, the Resident Pastor at City of David, Lagos.
