The Taraba State Chapter of the City Boy Movement has endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Governor Agbu Kefas for a second term of office.

Zainab Usman Jalingo, the State Commissioner for Information and Reorientation, who also serves as the State Coordinator of the group, in a statement on Monday, said the endorsement followed a careful assessment of the leaders’ performance and leadership qualities.

She described both Tinubu and Kefas as “tested and trusted,” adding that they remain the most suitable candidates to lead Nigeria and Taraba State, respectively, beyond 2027.

Jalingo commended Governor Kefas for what she termed people-centred governance, particularly highlighting the administration’s free education policy, which she said has eased the financial burden on families across the State.

According to her, the initiative has enabled thousands of children to return to school, offering relief and renewed hope to parents who previously struggled with education costs.

She further noted that the policy had had a direct and positive impact on households, describing it as a foundation for a better future for children in the State.

The Commissioner also praised the Governor’s agricultural initiatives, saying efforts to boost farming and food production are improving livelihoods, especially in rural communities.

“The combination of Governor Kefas’ grassroots impact and President Tinubu’s national vision makes them the best candidates moving forward,” she added.

She urged residents of Taraba State and Nigerians at large to support continuity in leadership, stressing that sustained governance would consolidate ongoing development efforts and deliver greater dividends of democracy.
