Senator Yusuf berates PDP for Taraba underdevelopment

The senator representing Taraba central senatorial district Yusuf Abubakar Yusuf, has berated the peoples democratic party (PDP), in the state for preventing governor Darius Ishaku from delivering on his campaign promises of developing the state.

The senator made this known while interacting with journalist in Jalingo the Taraba state capital.

Yusuf siad Darius Ishaku would have done exceedingly well as a governor if he was not surounded by the so call PDP stakeholders who are not ready to see Taraba state developed.

He explained that given the majurity and experience of the governor as a professional he was expected to have taken the state to the next level.

He adviced the governor to see himself as the governor for the people of Taraba and not exclusively for the PDP saying, going by the anteccedent of the party (PDP) it has nothing to offer to both the state and the country at large.

“I have been saying in public gatherings that  the PDP is curtailing even it’s governors from developing their states.

Darius is a professional given his majurity and exprience I think he would have done better but see, the state is not developing under his watch” he stated.
