PDP remains intact, ready for future polls –Atiku

May Day: Nigerian workers have never had it so bad – Atiku

Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general election, has said that the party remains intact and cannot be broken despite its recent electoral woes.

Atiku stated this in a world press conference on Monday in reaction to the Supreme Court judgment which affirmed the victory of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in last February’s presidential election.

The former vice president said he remained committed to the party and would continue to work at strengthening it ahead of future polls.

He appealed to party members and chieftains that the results of the 2023 general election should not affect their commitment to the party.

“The party remains strong, formidable, and the best political party in the world. The electoral failure should not affect us, I remain committed to the PDP and we should all work towards building a stronger party”, Atiku said.
