Ondo: Senator Ipinsagba commissions 1.5km Oka-Akoko road

Senator Olajide Ipinsagba, representing Ondo North Senatorial District, has commissioned the 1.5 kilometers township road in Oka-Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State.

BusinessDay reports that the road linking Ondo state with Ibillo in Kogi State was initiated by Ipinsagba.

Ipinsagba while commissioning the road alongside the Federal Medical Center Annex, Akunnu-Akoko, described the projects as fulfilling the needs of the people by providing easily accessible qualitative health care facility and good road.

Speaking at the event, the Oluwade of Akunnu Akoko, Olufemi Bankole Saba, thanked the senator for the FMC Annex, referred to as a landmark developmental stride in 6 months in office, called for more developmental projects across the senatorial district.

Also the Olubaka of Oka Akoko, Adeleye Adebori commended the senator for siting the road project in Oka town, expressed hopes that this was the beginning of more to come.

While residents of the two communities, Akunu Akoko and Oka Akoko lauded the senator over the construction of the 1.5km and commissioning of the FMC annex and described the projects as a welcome development.

According to them, it was uncommon to come by a senator like Ipinsagba who had impacted the lives of his constituents through the provision of infrastructure and welfare programmes.

They said that the senator might have chosen not to go ahead with the projects for obvious reasons. But instead, Ipinsagba toed the path of honour by going ahead to fulfil his electoral promise.

The residents of the communities, however, said they would always identify with him in his subsequent political ambitions.
