Kagame, Sall, Akufo-Ado, Weah attend Buhari’s anti-corruption summit

President Muhammadu Buhari is today hosting world leaders, including Paul Kagame of Rwanda, Nanna Akufo-Ado of Ghana, Macky Sall of Senegal and George Weah of Liberia at the anti-corruption event organized as part of the Inauguration/Democracy Day.

Already seated at the event taking place at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, are, Patrick Lumumba, from Kenya, All Progressive Congress APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu, Bisi Akande, Festus Keyamo, and the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, Ibrahim Magu.

The event tagged ‘National Democracy Day Anti-Corruption Summit’ , with the theme, “ Curbing Electoral Spending: A Panacea to Public Corruption” is attracting world dignitaries, with the Rwandan President, Paul Kagame, expected to deliver the Keynote Address.

Former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, Attahiru Jega, is expected to dwell on “Curbing Electoral Spending and Voter Inducement in Nigeria: The role of Regulatory and Law Enforcement Agencies”

Former President of the Court of Appeal, Ayo Salami, is also expected to speak on “ The Use of Public Funds in Election Litigation and the Integrity of the Judiciary”

The event is also being attended by the Service Chiefs amongst other top government officials.
