Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the August 15, 2026 Governorship election in Osun State, has assured the electorate that he would not betray their trust if elected.
Oyebamiji gave the assurance on Sunday during an engagement with members of the Nigerian Society of Professional Tailors in Osogbo.
He said his recently unveiled seven-point agenda, designed to benefit the masses, would be implemented faithfully.
Represented at the meeting by Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, the Chairman of Civic Engagement of the APC Campaign Council, Oyebamiji said his fear of God and commitment to integrity would guide him in keeping his campaign promises.
He described his campaign blueprint, code-named “PROSPERITY,” as a well-thought-out plan aimed at addressing the needs of the people and repositioning the state for sustainable development.
He explained that the agenda focuses on key areas including poverty alleviation, workers’ welfare, job creation, transparency, economic growth, security, education, and renewed investment in infrastructure.
“I want to assure you that I will not betray your trust if you give me your votes. I am contesting to serve you with all my strength, and I will not disappoint you.
“My seven-point agenda was carefully crafted for implementation when elected, and it will drive the growth of the state. Trust me with your votes, and I will keep my promise,” he said.
Oyebamiji also commended members of the association for their professionalism and contributions to the state’s economy, promising policies that would support and expand their businesses.
“You are men and women of high calibre. Your contributions to the state’s economic growth through your skills cannot be overlooked.
“A major component of our agenda focuses on creating opportunities for economic growth and providing support programmes for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This will be fully implemented to strengthen your businesses,” he said.
