Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, has appointed four principal officers for his administration, his Acting Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Alabrah said in a statement on Thursday.
A former Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Friday Konbowei Benson will serve as Secretary to the State Government, Benson Agadaga as Chief of Staff, Peter Pereotubo Akpe as Deputy Chief of Staff and Irorodamie Komonibo as Principal Secretary.
The statement said the appointments are with immediate effect.
Agadaga was Diri’s deputy campaign director while Akpe was a one-time leader of the state House of Assembly.
