A new twist emerged at the ongoing All Progressive Congress (APC) special convention for election of Presidential candidate, as Godwill Akpabio announced his withdrawal
Akpabio in his speech, directed his supporters to vote for the national leader if the APC and frontline presidential aspirant.

Former Governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun also toed the same line, when he equally announced his withdrawal from the race and asked his supporters to vote for Tinubu.
