Again, PDP protest in Abuja, marches to US, UK,  EU embasies

For the second time, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has kicked off a fresh protest in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The opposition party members are marching to the Embassies of the United States of America, United Kingdom and the European Union.
Already, party elders, critical stakeholders, party men and women,  as well as youth have converged on Abuja, at the Legacy House in Maitama area of Abuja and are set for the march.
It was gathered that the PDP is protesting current state of affairs in the country especially the high level of insecurity which, the party said require foreign assistance.
The opposition members are to march to the embassies where the party leaders will submit the petition.
Austin Akobundu (rtd), National Organizing Secretary of the party said the protest is ordered by NEC.
He stated that the National Chairman, Uche Secondus, all members of the NWC, BOT, Leadership and members of the National Assembly, and other critical stakeholders of our party are taking part in the demonstration.
