Results from twenty three local government areas released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on last Saturday Presidential election in Katsina state, have shown that the All Progressives Congress (APC) lead in all the councils with a wide margin.
The APC in Katsina state appears to be leading with a wide margin in the last Saturday’s Presidential Elections results so far released by INEC Collation officer for Katsina state,Professor Fatimah Muktar.
An update as at Monday’s afternoon indicates that the APC is still leading.

DANDUME LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA: APC—35,699
PDP–6,647.
MAIADUA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA: APC—35,198
PDP—8,256.
KAITA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA: APC—27,228
PDP—6925.
CHARANCHI LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA: APC—24,391
PDP—6,521.
KANKIA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA:
APC —30,470
PDP—9,449.
The INEC has adjourned further release of the results from the remaining eleven (11) local government areas until later in the day.
