Taraba Pioneer chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Hassan Abubakar, has called on the people of the state to come out en-masse to vote for Governor Darius Ishaku and other PDP candidates in this Saturday’s governorship and state assembly elections.
While addressing journalist on wednesday in Jalingo, Abubakar, pioneer chairman of NLC and a PDP chieftain in the state said he was supporting the PDP led administration in the state because of the love governor Ishaku has shown to Taraba workers.
Hassan, who is also a former chairman of Nigeria Union of pensioners (NUP), in the state cited prompt and regular payment of workers salaries, the multi billion naira green farm and other progressive projects embark upon by the PDP administration led by governor Ishaku.
He said Ishaku has done well and that he has the confidence that the people of Taraba will vote him back to office.
“The people will vote governor Darius Dickson Ishaku for second term to complete his good work. Taraba workers have never had it so good,this is the man that pay salaries before any other state in the north. Tarabans shall surely pay him back by voting him again to complete the good works.”He said.
