Akinwunmi Ambode, the outgoing governor of Nigeria’s commercial capital, has cast his vote at Ogunmodede Junior/Senior College, Epe.

Ambode’s four year tenure as Governor culminated in a loss to Jide Sanwo-Olu at the APC gubernatorial primaries, which ended his aspirations of a second term in office.

He has since taken his defeat on the chin and urged Lagosians and Nigerians, Saturday, to exercise their civic duties in a peaceful manner and cooperate with necessary officials to ensure a free, fair and credible election.
