Election Postponement: Buhari, APC Caucus meet to review strategy

As the postponement of last Saturday’s Presidential election continues to elicit reactions across Nigeria, the All Progressive Congress APC, President Muhamamdu Buhari will any moment from now meet with the party caucus

Already, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, as well as Governors from Zamfara, Bauchi, Ondo, Ekiti , Osun , Jigawa, Borno, Oyo, Kaduna, and Kebbi states, are already seated awaiting the President’s arrival.

The expanded caucus meeting also include members of the federal Executive Council, who have also taken their seats in anticipation of the President’s arrival.

Amongst those attending the meeting are Secretary to the Government of the Federation , Boss Mustapha who arrived much earlier for the meeting scheduled for 11.00 am.

The meeting is expected to come up with resolutions on further actions ahead of the rescheduled Presidential and National Assembly elections coming up on Saturday, 23rd of February, 2019, across the country

Businessday also gathered that the meeting will review the cost of mobilizing its officials for the botched election and how to raise more money for the rescheduled election.
