President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the Senate to approve the sum of N10.069 billion promissory note for Kogi State.
Buhari wrote to Senate on Tuesday and explained that the money is bond issuance to settle local debts on projects executed by the Kogi State government on behalf of the federal government.
The request is coming less than a month to the conduct of the governorship election scheduled to hold in Kogi State on November 3.
