The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, defeated President Muhammadu Buhari, the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the polling unit of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos state.

Atiku secured 52 votes to defeat Buhari who got 48 votes at the Femi Okunnu polling unit in Ikoyi, where Sanwo-Olu and his wife voted.
