Senate President, Bukola Saraki, said if people deliver to PDP on Saturday, their votes will be negotiating power with the incoming government of Atiku Abubakar, saying, “he is the only one that understands how to create wealth, how to drive the economy and create jobs for the youths”.
He stated this at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) final rallies on Thursday, ahead of Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections.
Bukola, personally led the campaign train, was accompanied by Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, the speaker of the state House of Assembly, Ali Ahmad, Director General of the PDP campaign council, Abubakar Sulyman and the state’s party Chairman, Kola Shittu.
Saraki who was apparently impressed by the large turn out of the party supporters, asked the people to come out en masse to vote for Atiku Abubakar and all the party’ s candidates in the national assembly elections.
“If you deliver to PDP on Saturday, your votes will be our negotiating power with the incoming government of Atiku Abubakar.
“He is the only one that understands how to create wealth, he understands how to drive the economy and create jobs for the youths,” he said
Also speaking, the party’s governorship candidate, Razak Atunwa assured that his government will create jobs ,improve infrastructure and uplift the standard of living of all kwarans.
The last set of rally which held at various locations within Ilorin west local government areas where the Senate President, Bukola Saraki hails from was indeed mother of all rallies.
The daughter of the Emir of Ilorin, Princess Aisha Sulu- Gambari who is a house of assembly candidate added colour to the campaign rally as she was accompanied by about 20 horse riders.
