Sesan Adeniji has been appointed as the General Manager (GM) of Vybz 94.5FM Lagos.
Murphy Ben Anawana, C.E.O, Murphy Ben International, owners of Vybz 94.5FM, said the station is currently at the forefront of churning out chart-topping and blockbuster content.
“We are creating an integrated media company with Aforevo Youtube, Revo+ streaming, Vybz 94.5FM, and VYbz TV as a youth-centric media mecca that delivers non-stop entertainment for audiences globally and helps brands connect with target audience,” he said
Anawana stated that with enhanced strategic partnerships with Trace TV, FILMHouse, Boomplay, Rhapsody’s Lounge & Bar, and local and regional music distributors, Vybz 94.5 FM, was moving on an upward trajectory to becoming a force to reckon with.
Speaking about his new role, Sesan Adeniji, said the station would continue to deploy digital and AI to help brands meet their bottom lines.
According to him, the visual radio will leverage technology to drive its content delivery with the alignment of its video-on-demand.
“It is a big honour to be part of a radio station connecting brands to a youth-centric 18-45 age bracket market with a 15 percent market audience share and 1.5 million listeners of whom 57 percent are women – head of the household buying decisions,” he said.
With over 23 years of experience in the Nigerian entertainment industry, he is on a mission to use cutting-edge analytics and AI to generate radio and TV programs that will continue to spread Afrobeats globally and allow brands to use music as a driver to reach consumers with more music and less talk.
