Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry, a music promoter is currently in police custody. He was arrested on September 28, 2023, in connection with the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad.
This was confirmed by Benjamin Hundeyin, Police public relations officer, Lagos State Command, on his X (Twitter) page.
Larry was arrested at the Lagos airport upon his return to Nigeria from the United Arab Emirates. He is currently being detained at the Lagos State Police Command headquarters in Ikeja.

The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death. It is unclear if Larry has been charged with any crimes.
