The Plateau State Government on Tuesday embarked on the inspection of the ongoing 6.9-kilometer road project linking Gada Biu to St. Moses Catholic Church in Tundun Wada in Jos North Local Government Area of the State, pledging to undertake more infrastructure in the State.

The inspection marked the significant progress in the State’s infrastructure development plans under the leadership of Governor Caleb Mutfwang.

Peter Gai, the Commissioner for Lands and Survey, emphasised that the Government is committed to fulfilling its campaign promises.

“This road project is not just a government initiative, it belongs to the community, and we urge everyone to protect it”, Gai said.

He highlighted that the completion of the road is a priority, and the Government is taking all necessary measures to ensure its timely delivery.

Musa Ashoms, Commissioner for Information and Communication and the Commissioner for Works reiterated Gai’s statements, expressing confidence that the road would soon be completed.

They also noted that the Government had made provisions for compensation to families whose houses were affected by the project, ensuring the process runs smoothly.

Blessing Anyebe, a community leader in the area expressed gratitude towards the State Government for its commitment to the development of the state.
