The immediate past president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, sent his best wishes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigerians on Saturday as the nation prepares to mark its 63rd independence anniversary on Sunday.
Buhari said that he remains hopeful that democracy, as the governing framework, will steadily strengthen with each passing year in Nigeria.
