Njideka Akabogu named among top PR practitioners in Kenya

The Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK) has unveiled its annual list of Top Public Relations Practitioners in Kenya, spotlighting Njideka Akabogu, Regional Manager for East Africa at ID Africa, as a leading figure in the field. Published in the organization’s PR Digest, this recognition highlights Akabogu’s rising influence in the PR industry across the continent and underscores the impact of BHM and its subsidiaries in Africa and beyond.

ID Africa, a BHM company, has consistently demonstrated its dedication to helping brands, governments, and organizations communicate effectively with their audiences. Recent expansions into East Africa, including Kenya and Tanzania, have solidified ID Africa’s role in driving strategic communications and delivering innovative solutions for leading organizations.

With over a decade of experience, Akabogu has worked with global brands such as Showmax, DStv, Heineken, Paramount, and Betway. Her career journey, from content strategist and fashion editor to PR leader, has been marked by accolades including recognition in YNaija’s New Establishment List (2019) and Brand Communicator’s 2022 35 Under 35 Top Marketing Professionals in Nigeria.

Other prominent figures on the PRSK list include Omar Kibulanga, Head of Communications & PR at Mombasa County Public Service Board; Lilian Nganda, Head of Customer Communications and Events for the IMEA Region at AP Moller-Maersk; and Eric Kiniti, Group Corporate Relations Director at East African Breweries PLC.
