The National Assembly Service Commission has confirmed the appointments of Ojo Olatunde as Clerk to the National Assembly with Bala Yabani to serve as his deputy.
It also appointed Dauda El-Ladan as Clerk of the Senate and Francis Akabueze as a clerk of the House of Representatives.
According to a press release by the Executive Chairman of the commission, Ahmed Amshi, the appointments were ratified at a meeting held on September 30.

The commission had on July 17 and 20 appointed Ojo and the other management staff to their different positions in an acting capacity.
However, Amshi said Akabueze was appointed with effect from November 25.
Also appointed are Yusuf Danbatta, Secretary to the commission; Orunwase Osaze, Secretary, Human Resources and Staff Development; Ademola Adebanjo, Secretary, Legal Service; Ramatu Ahmad, Secretary, Research and Information and Bashir Hamza as Secretary, Health Services.
Other appointments are Aimua Henrietta, Secretary, Special Duties; Liman Sanda, Secretary, Procurement, Estate, and Works; Oladoyin Abiodun, Secretary, Inter-Parliamentary and Protocol; Iloba Ugochi, Deputy Clerk, Senate (Legislative); Navati Iliya, Deputy Clerk, Senate (Admin); Danzariya Hamidu as Deputy Clerk, House of Representatives.
