Makinde retains Ogunwuyi as CoS, names new CPSsayi

Seyi Makinde, newly sworn in governor of Oyo State, has reappointed Segun Ogunwuyi as his Chief of Staff (CoS).

Makinde, who made the announcement shortly after adopting and signing the report of the Ogunwuyi-led transition committee on Monday, also named Sulaiman Olanrewaju as his new Chief Press Secretary.

Olanrewaju, who replaced Makinde’s former Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa, was until his new appointment the Group Business Editor of the Nigerian Tribune.

The governor said his new CPS was absent from the event because he was unaware of his own appointment .

“My decision to appoint Olanrewaju was borne out of due diligence privately carried out by me,” Makinde said.
