JCI Nigeria awards innovative entrepreneurs

JCI Nigeria to empower young entrepreneurs with $15,000

JCI is empowering young Nigerian entrepreneurs with $15,000 through its 2023 Creative Young Entrepreneur (CYE) programme.

The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Nigeria has launched its application for the 2021 Creative Young Entrepreneurs Awards (CYEA).

This initiative, which is the first of its kind is aimed at recognising, supporting and providing young entrepreneurs with the resources, training and brand visibility needed to take their enterprise to the next level.

According to the Olajumoke Adeola, Chairperson, JCI Nigeria 2021 CYE Award Planning Committee, the organisation understands that entrepreneurs contribute significantly to the growth and development of the country because they do not only have great ideas but also possess the drive, creativity and courage to birth profitable enterprises.

“In addition to being recognised as one of the ten most creative and innovative young entrepreneurs in Nigeria, they will also receive business training from acclaimed entrepreneurial institutions, mentorship and access to business resources,” the organisation stated.

The award is open to all Nigerian youths between the ages of 18-40 years. All they need to do is log on to www.cyea.jci.ng to apply. Application closes by April 30, 2021.
